Cowboys and Cowgirls

We had so much fun last weekend in Bear Lake....Daryls parents live on a farm in Bear Lake so it is definitely Daryls and the kids favorite places to go. We got to go on a cattle drive and ride the horses a bunch. It was a lot of fun. You should see all of the peoples faces as they are all in their swimsuits headed for the lake and here we are with a bunch of cows all running down the middle of the road. So funny, some people whip out their video camera and take pictures. I am sad I didn't get a picture of Breanna for some reason, but she loves to ride horses too!! Can you see Lexi's white Sunday shoes on the horse...She is a girly girl, but I had no
idea those were the only shoes she decided to bring...silly girl

Can you see my cowgirl boots....Only for the farm. :)

Brandon can ride this horse by himself...he thinks he is pretty cool...I guess I do to!!

Egypt

Well in a couple of weeks we will be heading to this lovely country...I am half excited and half nervous!!! We will also be going on a Nile River Cruise. SO usually I am crazy about traveling and LOVE it, but Daryl and his friend (who will be going with us) totally had to talk me into this one. My mother-in-law also pointed out that Egypt is right next door to Saudia Arabia. It will hopefully be a fun adventure, and I probably won't post again till we get back!! I never knew Cairo was such a HUGE city..wow!!!

Big 5, so fun to visit with her, and wow, she had a baby since the last time I saw her...crazy how time flies)
* Bought Peaches downtown,
* Took Brandon and all girls to B's football game,
* Came home from football game and bottled 12 quarts of peaches, (Thanks so much for my mother-in-laws help on that one!!!....that is a first time for me bottling peaches)....yay, they also turned out yummy!!! :)
* Cleaned kitchen and did some dishes...
* Ate dinner...spaghetti of course...yummm,

A little stinker

Ellee is in a wonderful stage of life....she is Miss Adventureous. This all happened with in one day, and it also happens almost everyday. She is just so darn fast and she has the biggest smile on her face when she is doing all of these naughty things. I shouldn't be surprised, because all of my kids were like this. Good thing she is so dang cute and funny and we love her soo much!!!

Atleast she was entertained for a few minutes by watching the kids play outside.

This one is the worst....Luckily, I hardly ever use the bottom oven!!

JACK

Meet the newest member of our family!!! He is so adoreable!!! And we love him so super much!!! This is our first dog since we have been married. Dar and I both grew up with dogs, but just have never got one yet. The kids are in love with him. We debated on his name between Jax or Jack, so you know us, his name is Jack and his nick name is Jax....so we can call him either one. :)

I love Fall!!!

I love it when it is time to get all of those yummy fruits and veggies from our garden. I don't really like bottling and freezing stuff, but I love it when it is done and I can put it in my pantry or freezer. This year was kind of fun, because Lexi was able to help me. She was so cute and it was fun to have her help. :) We tried cantaloupe and watermelon this year, and they grew awesomely!! We eat cantaloupe or watermelon every night for dinner. YUM

We got a ton of peas, now I just need to freeze them...

Yes, Lexi and Tinker Belle helped me this year.

Tomatoes all done, yay...maybe I will try some spaghetti sauce???

First day of school...

Can't believe that it is that time of year again. Wow!! I swear that time just flies by. Lexi just started preschool, she was so excited!!

Bre took her own picture...
B took his own picture as well... silly kids :)

Cute Lexi, look at her ginormus backpack! :)

So funny, one day both of my kids got off of the bus with their noses is their
books. They really walked the whole way from the bus like this.
