Poor little thing...

My poor little Ellee was in the hospital all day on Friday.  She has some kind of bad bug in her that has made her throw up, get diareah super bad and have a fever of 103 for five days now.  This hospital visit was day number three.  Luckily her fever is now gone.  I worried for three days that her appendix was going to rupture, because these are the same symptoms that Brandon had when he was 18 months old and his appendix did rupture and it took the doctors a week to find out what was wrong with him.  Anyways I have now had three docs tell me that it is not her appendix, so maybe I will believe them.  So anyways they gave her an IV which helped tremendously and an anti nausea med which has also helped so much.   So we are just trying to see it through.  She was so funny in the hospital, they wanted me to put a little tiny hospital gown on her, but I know that she thought it was a bib and she put up a bigger stink about me putting her "bib" on than the nurse putting in her IV.  So needless to say she just wore her jammy pants and a blanket.  She was so dehydrated that she would just lay on the bed or couch and wouldn't even try to move.  She really didn't even mind that much when it took them 5 minutes to get the IV in.  Hopefully she will be back to her crazy little hyper, curious, and high pitched squealy self soon.

Grandpa Hunt

My grandpa just passed away on Sunday night.  I am so grateful that we got to go visit him a couple of weeks ago when he was awake and knew who I was.  I helped him drink some water and my kids sang him a couple of songs.  That will be my last memory of grandpa.  I am so happy that I got to have him alive for as long as we did and that my kids could know him as well.  Grandma died about 12 years ago so I know grandpa will be much happier where he is now...and not in any pain.  Love you grandpa.
Thanks for the picture Kris.

ST. GEORGE

Breanna had a soccer tournament down in ST. GEORGE so we packed up the whole family and headed down.   We had so much fun!!!  It was fun to be there with so many friends.  We played right at Dixie State College campus.  Bre's team didn't do quite as well as we had hoped.  They lost their first game, then won the next two so we thought we were for sure in the semi-finals and we came at the time of the game all ready to play just to find out that the team we had beat was playing in the finals instead of us.  What a bummer!!!  I guess it was so close to determine the playing team that they had to look at goals scored against us and we had one or two more goals scored against us, so we were out!!!  We were sad for a few minutes, but had a great time playing and Bre scored three goals and learned a lot!!!
The weather was awesome!!!  60's compared to the teens at home.  WE stayed at one of Daryls cousins house.  It was so fun to visit with them and his aunt and uncle.

Lexi had fun playing with her little friends Carly and Mia.

I love this pic of Ellee and a baby palm tree behind her.

The kids found the Dixie State Mascot stuff...silly kids, whose are they anyway???

Now the kids are pretending to catch the football...

Cute Ellee at Sonya and Robs house..

Of course if we are in St. George we had to do some swimming!!!

On Sunday we went to church at 9, then went to walk around the Temple grounds.  It is so beautiful and pure white.

Time to come home, I totally did not want to.  It was so nice in St. George, but I guess all good things must come to an end...at least Ellee slept most of the way home :)
