Grandpa Hunt

My grandpa just passed away on Sunday night.  I am so grateful that we got to go visit him a couple of weeks ago when he was awake and knew who I was.  I helped him drink some water and my kids sang him a couple of songs.  That will be my last memory of grandpa.  I am so happy that I got to have him alive for as long as we did and that my kids could know him as well.  Grandma died about 12 years ago so I know grandpa will be much happier where he is now...and not in any pain.  Love you grandpa.

Dontcha just love that pic though? I just think it is so cute and I barely recognize most of them! I mean I know who they are but that is not what I pictured them looking like!
I'm glad we have such happy memories of grandpa as well. We were so lucky to know him for so long!

Sorry to hear about your grandpa, Ang. Some of my favorite memories are with my grandparents shortly before they died. Tender Mercies.
