My poor little Ellee was in the hospital all day on Friday. She has some kind of bad bug in her that has made her throw up, get diareah super bad and have a fever of 103 for five days now. This hospital visit was day number three. Luckily her fever is now gone. I worried for three days that her appendix was going to rupture, because these are the same symptoms that Brandon had when he was 18 months old and his appendix did rupture and it took the doctors a week to find out what was wrong with him. Anyways I have now had three docs tell me that it is not her appendix, so maybe I will believe them. So anyways they gave her an IV which helped tremendously and an anti nausea med which has also helped so much. So we are just trying to see it through. She was so funny in the hospital, they wanted me to put a little tiny hospital gown on her, but I know that she thought it was a bib and she put up a bigger stink about me putting her "bib" on than the nurse putting in her IV. So needless to say she just wore her jammy pants and a blanket. She was so dehydrated that she would just lay on the bed or couch and wouldn't even try to move. She really didn't even mind that much when it took them 5 minutes to get the IV in. Hopefully she will be back to her crazy little hyper, curious, and high pitched squealy self soon.

That picture is so sad. I tried calling you all day on Fri. to see if I could get Lexi. Sorry, I wasn't more availabe. Hope Ellee is doing lots better, and I'm glad it is not her appendix.
so yes that picture is sad but the first thing i noticed was that she looks so OLD! like no way can that be my little almost 2 chubbers Ellee! She looks like she's 5! Poor little lamb, she better get feeling better and get back to her crazy and normal 2 year old cuteness!
How scary! I'm glad it wasn't the same as Brandon, and hope she's on the mend!
I hope she will be on the mend soon. I hate it when kids have to go to the hospital.
Angie, I had no idea! I guess she is back at it...she was happy at soccer. Such a scare. Glad all is well.
