Breanna has earrings!!!!!

We have always told Breanna that she had to wait until she was eight years old to get her ears pierced. Well the time has finally come. This weekend we went to Salt Lake to buy a tractor. Since we were there we decided to stop at South Towne Mall to get it done. Breanna was little nervous, but very excited. Daddy kept teasing her that it would hurt so bad, and what if she only dared to get one done, through all of that she got the courage to go sit in the chair. The lady cleaned her ears and put a dot showing the place where the earring would go and then it was time.... With in one minute Bre now had earrings. She was so brave and said that it didn't even hurt to bad. The lady that pierced her ears told Daryl that if kept teasing her then she would pierce his ears too. It was funny. Afterwards we let the kids play on the escalator for a few minutes. Can ya tell we live in Logan?? There are no escalators in Logan, so my kids think it is as great as a roller coaster ride. Anyway it was a great adventure for us all!!! I took a pic to document that Daryl survived a trip to the Mall on a Saturday in Salt Lake. :) Yeah Breanna!!!

1. I love that Bre is showing off her earrings in the family pic.
2. I love that D was actually in the mall and that you had to document it.
3. I am sad that the escalator pic does not show the full glee your kids were expressing...
4. I LOVE Bre's earrings! So grown-up!

Yeah to Breanna! Kylie can't wait to be 8, one day! I think it is only fair that Daryl had to go to the mall with you if you drove all the way to S.L. to see a tractor! p.s. Who drove the tractor home? Just kidding. Wouldn't that be a nightmare?

Hey Angie! I was so excited to hear you got on the blog-wagon! I knew it was only a matter of time before you all gave way to this! I love being able to see your kids and what you are up too! Congrats on the new house, I'll have to stop by next time we are in Logan! Can you believe I have not seen Lexi since you had Heather's bridal shower at your home in Nibley right after she was born? Time just flies by way too fast! Tell Daryl hi from us...miss you guys!
