LOTS OF DR. BILLS COMING

Our two little sweeties each had an early morning dr. appointment. I took Ellee to the Specialty hospital to get tubes in and her adnoids out. The doc said her adnoids looked terrible, full of mucus and pus and very infected (sorry that is kind of yucky!). But yay, her surgery was successful. She had had a bad fever for the past two days, and started coughing last night. The doc said if she was coughing they probly couldn't do the surgery. D gave her a blessing and I prayed all night long, since yes we were up all night long that she wouldn't cough so that she could be taken care of. And she must have got her coughs out last night, because she did super at the hospital. What a blessing. She is a little fussy and sore when she coughs or sneezes. (And yes she is coughing a little now) But other than that she is doing good. And I can already tell that she can hear better, it is amazing. She just looks at me while I talk to her, like she hasn't quite heard my voice that clear before. So I am so excited!!! :)

Daryl was incharge of taking Lexi Lu to the dentist at 7 am. She had to have a special med that would make her sleep. Yay, it worked and they did two baby root canals and filled 3 other cavitites. My kids have awful teeth. We tried this with Lex about 2 months ago and she would not ever fall asleep, which the doctor said only happens to about 5% of his patients. He was a little hesitant to try it againg, but our only other option was to go to the hospital and have her put out, which D and I did not want to do. So We bribed her with two packs of her own sugar free gum. And Daryl sat with her and rocked her and yay, got her to sleep.
So now I have 2 sleepy girls, but so happy to have all this work done so they can get better. Dar was so awesome. I had been up forever with Ellee so he stayed with me and held Ellee while I took a nap, so now I feel much better!!! I love my honey!!!

We had to put lex on the floor so she didn't fall off of the bed.
And lucky Ellee is snuggled in my bed.

Rotten times! Hopefully everybody is doing better now. One of these days I really am going to meet up with you and Jen again. I'll plan something.

Poor girlies.... I hope they are recovering and doing much better. I bet Ellee starts talking and babbling a ton now. Give them each a big hug for me.

Copy away Angie. I wish I could say that I came up with that one on my own.

I bet having Ellie's adnoids out will help out tons. It helped out Bells.
