Each year we go up one of the canyons in Bear Lake to cut down our Christmas tree. It is always so much fun, and something our kids will always remember... This year wasn't too cold and made it perfect for Christmas tree hunting.
The only mishap we had was when Breanna tripped on a tree root and fell on her knees ruining her cutest pair of jeans (that should have only been worn at school, but oh well I guess...) Her knee was a bloody mess but she tried to be tough.
The cousins always have so much fun together!!!
I had all of the kids pose in front of the tree before church on Sunday.

I am sitting here in my apartment with the air conditioner blowing full blast because here in the Philippines on this December 14th it is 89 degrees. There are no pine trees, just palms, but I did buy a poinsettia which I can plant after the holidays and it will grow into a tree just outside my door! Thank you for the lovely Utah/Idaho wintery, foresty, piney (I can almos smell it) photos.
Love, Grandma
What a fun tradition. That is one thing I love about the holidays. Thanks for inviting me to your blog! It is so great to see how you and your family are doing.
