Steamboat Springs

We had so much fun on our little vacation to Colorado.  We took our kids skiing.  I was a little nervous about taking Ellee with us but it turned out to be just fine and tons of fun.  We went with a couple of friends who also had little ones, so we took turns skiing and watching babies and swimming.  The kids did so good skiing.  I can't believe how fast kids can learn how to ski.  I went with Lex for a while and we skied down one run and it took us 1 hour to get down to the bottom.  She skiied the whole hour and did awesome.  She was so cute on her little ski's.  Bre and Brandon had a blast.  Daryl, Bre, brandon, and I were all skiing together one afternoon and we accidently took the kids down a black diamond.....wooops.  Well Bre did great and Brandon did too, it just took him about 20 minutes to get down the hill, but he sure learned fast how to turn side to side.  Bre and I had to camp out at the bottom of the hill for a while to wait for him.  But he almost always had a smile on his face, except for the time he got mad and chucked his ski down the hill....  :)

This is the black diamond hill I was talking about...that is Bre, Brandon, and Daryl headed down. I am about half way down the hill.  :)

 

This was me and bre camping out near the bottom...what a beautiful day!!! 

Ellee would get so excited when it was time to go "swimmy"  She would run the whole way...

  

One morning all of the "girls" got to go out by ourselves...what a blast!!!!
